child marriage
in judaism, child marriage it was traditionally prohibited to female children. The earliest point at which a boy is allowed to become betrothed is when he gets the age of majority, which is 13.
Poverty, religion, tradition, and conflict make the incidence of child marriage in Sub-Saharan Africa similar to South Asia.
In Pakistan, the tradition of child marriage is still practiced in some areas, but in Vani and other customes like Swara and Watta Satta no. The minimum legal age for marriage is eighteen for male and 16 for females.
I personally believe that the tradition of chil marriage around the world should not be tolerated. We should all fight for the rights of human beings, especially women (since they are the major victims in child marriages) and make people aware of the great damage thats being done to many children around the world who aernt able to choose their own partner in life, that are forced into marrying, girls who are taken out of school to be moms at a very early age and never develop a complete education to be successful in life. So, I believe this theme of child marriages is completely unfair and globally should be restricted.
